Description
Very nice copy of this classic from Hubbard, featuring the likes of Wayne Shorter, Eric Dolphy, Cedar Walton, Reggie Workman etc. This is the Impulse!/ABC 1974 reissue version. Whilst the cover and spine read "A-38", this is definitely the "AS-38" catalogue number ("A-38" has black & orange Impulse! labels).
The cover is in good shape though shows some signs of scuffs along the top and bottom edges of the front, nothing major. The top right corner of the front gatefold has had a tiny (1cm) diagonal clean cut from it. The rear sleeve shows very little wear at all, black ink is very solid. The spine has some small wrinkles on the front side and has a tiny (<1cm) chip missing, but is otherwise tight and legible.
The vinyl itself looks lovely, no surface markings etc, the labels on each side are clean and unmarked.
There's an original printed inner sleeve that has a small white sticker in the top corner on one side (shown in the photos), but no splits.
As with all my used vinyl, I ship with the inner sleeve back to back with the outer sleeve on a plastic jacket. I re-use, carefully re-sealed sturdy proper vinyl cartons to help make sure your purchase arrives in good shape (no complaints to date!).
Please check my other listings for other used (mostly vintage jazz) vinyl. Happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases, I'll only ever charge the actual costs for carriage.
Thanks for looking!
