Issued in 1985 released on the Move label and licensed from Live And Learn Records this is a fantastic roots album. Featuring The Roots Radics and recorded at Channel One, very rare and worth every penny. The vinyl is in very good condition with just a couple of surface marks. The outer sleeve still has its original shrinkwrap on, it has a crease top left and bottom right corners, and a record outline where it has been stored the cover being quite a flimsy card. The record is not completely flat not warped badly but not totally flat, certainly does not affect the playing. There is a little surface noise audible between tracks and during any very quiet parts but nothing bad...........there is one scratch at the beginning of Side 1 track 3....it last about three or four revolutions then it's gone. There are some very familiar tracks and familiar Roots Radics tracks on this LP, there is a difference in volume between some tracks and others but that presumably is because the tracks are coming from different sources, often the case with Reggae LP's. There is new cut of Father Will Cut You Off originally recorded for Studio One in the early 70's. The Message is one of his best and hardest tunes. Hey Stranger is a cut of Mikey Dread's Jumping Master and also the vocal of a cut on Scientist Dub Landing. This is a MUST for all Freddie McKay fans and eighties roots and dub fans. There is a much later repress...........this is the original. This version doesn't come up for sale very often.
