DESCRIPTION: Free- 2nd self titled LP. 1st UK pressing with EJ Day gatefold sleeve, correct poly lined inner ("British Patents"), 1A/1B matrix with etched Bell Sound SF and Pink "I" Labels. This is a complete original UK 1st press of a fantastic LP. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPS-9104 STEREO YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some light hairlines and superficial surface lines. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty much Excellent. Music is clear and loud. It has just an occasional tick. Its a really nice crisp, vibrant sound. Even "Mourning Sad Mourning" plays really nice and clean. There is not really any background sound on this LP. Original EJ Day cover is in a lot better than average condition. It is firm and square and has moderate edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Light yellowing to fully ledgible spine. Inside of gatefold is really clean. No writing or rips anywhere. Original "British Patents" poly lined inner is complete but has some short tears to centre and top edge. Poly is still intact. Nice clean Pink "I" labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice copy of a fantastic LP PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
