Description

With as much conviction and capabilities of men twice their age, Free's first album is a late night heavy blues blaster, packed with stinging leads and howling vocals. 'Tons of sobs' stands just as tall as any other Marshall amp fueled/blues first albums from Taste, Pappo's blues, or Leaf Hound, although this awesome set of hard rock is often overshadowed by their 'Fire and water' album and the mega hit 'Allright now'. 17 year old, Paul Kossoff delivers an amazing performance, and the then 18 year old, Paul Rodgers great bluesy vocal range all start right here on this rare Canadian pressing. Gatefold sleeve shows some shelfwear along the seams and no bends, tears, or splits. Vinyl has a few faint lines and signs of use and could easily grade EX for those who can appreciate vintage pressings and don't go crate digging at Walmart. Plenty photos document all this, take a good look. Paul Kossoff's drug addictions are well documented  and his death in 1975 was a major loss in English rock.
