Description

I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 4 records (10" 78s) on an attractive very dark blue and gold SELMER label made in France! It is Set 196 featuring Ulysse Delecluse and the Clarinet Sextette of the Garde Republicaine Band of Paris (Le Sextuor De Clarinettes. The records are: 

1. #SA-12, Clarinet Sextette, "Gigue" (Bach and "Dieuxieme Caprice-Op.16 (Mendelssohn). 

2. #SA-13, Clarinet Sextette, "La Danse des Violons" and "Guisganderie" (F.&M Jean-Jean). 

3. #SA-11, U. Delecluse Au Piano-Annie d'Arco, "Serenade" (G.Pierne) and "Deux Pieces pour Clarinet Seule" (Stravinsky). 

4. #7089, Clarinet Sextette, "Romance sans Parole"-Op.19 (Mendelssohn) and "Le Vol du Bourdon" (Rimsky-Korsakov). 

The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean! Cover and sleeves in very good condition as well and has the matching little foldover paper booklet with it. Looks to be a rare Set; a great classical collectible!  I recently listed this and was very surprised it did not sell. So starting the bidding at a much lower price this time around.
