Description
This is the original 1985 Fright Night motion picture soundtrack on Private I Records, catalog SZ 40087. This is a promotional copy, stamped on the cover for promotion only. Ten tracks including the title song by J. Geils Band, plus Autograph, Ian Hunter, April Wine, Devo, Sparks, Evelyn Champagne King, White Sister, Fabulous Fontaines, and Brad Fiedel. The cover shows normal shelf wear with some edge fraying at the bottom corner, nothing that affects the artwork or readability. The vinyl looks clean in hand with no visible scuffing, though it has not been played on a turntable so grading is visual only. This is the original 1985 pressing, not one of the newer colored vinyl reissues, and original copies of this soundtrack have become sought after among horror and soundtrack collectors.
Why you'll love it: a genuine piece of 80s horror movie history, the soundtrack behind one of the most beloved vampire films of its era, and a promo pressing that adds a little extra story for any serious collector's shelf.
