On offer here is the VERY RARE 1ST LP BY FRUUP ENTITLED FUTURE LEGENDS ISSUED ON THE UK DAWN LABEL IN 1973.At a time when groups like Genesis and Yes were ruling the roost of the prog tree(and quite rightly),a number of superb prog bands were slipping under the radar,and Fruup certainly fall into this category as this is absolutely top-notch prog.The band from Northern Ireland started with this album on the highly collectable Dawn label and here is a rare chance to own this brilliant album in an overall excellent condition.The sleeve has a little wear to the spine and the very faintest wear to the top and bottom of the front sleeve and along the top of the gatefold inner.There is an old price sticker on top right which I am reluctant to try to remove for fear of damaging the sleeve.I will grade the sleeve as VERY GOOD+ or EXCELLENT-.Hereafter,everything gets even better.The labels are EXCELLENT+ and ,as I know this album attracts healthy bids, I will describe the vinyl as accurately and honestly as possible.The record looks and plays superbly,without any skips or jumps whatsoever.Having listened again both normally and on headphones,there is nothing worse than an occasional bit of the lightest background crackle and the odd pop now and again.It has to be graded as EXCELLENT.The vinyl came in a plain white polylined inner sleeve that simply has the group and album name written in biro in the top corner.It's a lovely album in great shape.In summary:
