Description

Up for bidding is a very rare soul release from a band called Full Flavor.  It was recorded at Benson Sound Studio in Oklahoma City and released in 1971.  The lead singer on this is Tim Ballard, who left the group amicably shortly after recording. Side one is "Love Song," and side 2 is Meet Me in Chicago.  The band released this 45 on their own Forte Records label.  There are some snaps particularly at the beginning, but those fade away quickly.  I will rate both sides VG+, while the outer sleeve I will give VG.  There is a hole from a stamp at the top right which I took off after buying today from this guy just north of Dallas.  The sleeve is generic, and I have a feeling (though I can't verify it) that this was probably only originally released in a generic sleeve.  This release is in high demand among rare soul aficionados.
