Description
On offer here is a FULL SET OF 8 lobby cards or as they were known in the UK, Front of House stills.
Up until around the mid 1980s before the advent of multiscreens, cinemas would display these cards showing scenes from the forthcoming films in special cabinets either in the cinema foyer or outside the building. These cards are credited to The National Screen Services Ltd who were based in Perivale, less than two miles from our store. They are a standard size of 8 X 10 inches (approx 25 X 20 cms) United Artists

This is an original set printed in England in1967
ITEM CONDITION . All 8 cards show obvious signs of storage and handling in varying degrees and although there are no major individual folds or creases, four or five of the cards can only be described as well handled and show a variety of minor handling creases. The worst card is probably that shown in photo 2. Most corners are soft and there is wear to the edges. However the colours remain bright and vibrant . The backs which are plain mostly show wear or handling and three have numbers written on them. We have provided a supersize photo so that the buyer can properly study the item before bidding.
