Box is M-. 22 record set. Records look unplayed. A 264 page book is included. It has a 12 page essay on each of the 22 composers. Book is M-. Composers in this boxed see include: Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Schumann, Grieg, Dvorak and many, many more. Orchestras include: Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonic Hungarica, Berlin Symphony, Bamberg Symphony, Vienna Pro Musica and many others. Conductors include: Charles Groves, Jonel Perlea, Adrian Boult, Peter Maag. Artists include Alfred Brendel. Also included as an extra is another Funk and Wagnalls record of 20th century music titled "Great Music of Our Time". Tracks are: Leonard Bernstein - Overture to Candide, Ballet Music from West Side Story. Also music from: Morton Gould, Aaron Copland, and Ferde Grofe. Artists include: Atlantic Symphony, Robert Shaw, cond.. Utah Symphony, Maurice Abravanel, cond.. Dallas Symphony, Donald Johanos, bond.. Rochester Philharmnic, Ferde Grofe,cond.. Record looks unplayed (see picture #3) All of the records in the Funk and Wagnalls series are pressed by RCA. The sound is excellent.
