Description
This is the second pressing (early-mid 1960s) of Furry Lewis' 1960 studio album with Folkways Records, containing eight tracks and two short excerpts from an interview where Furry recounts stories of making music in the 1930s. The vinyl is graded VG+ with some faint scuffs on the playing surfaces (more on the runouts), light surface noise, and a couple of isolated pops (not too loud), but not enough to seriously detract from the music. The booklet and original paper inner are graded EX+; aside from the inevitable age-related yellowing and some light foxing on the booklet they both look great. The cardboard stiffener is graded NM. This record has been ultrasonically cleaned, play-graded on a Merrill-Williams REAL 101 turntable, and placed in a 2 mil polyethylene antistatic inner sleeve (heavier inners do not fit properly in the jacket). A 5 mil polypropylene outer sleeve is provided.
The record will ship via USPS Media Mail for US customers (Priority Mail available at additional cost) and First Class International for foreign customers, in a white record mailer with corrugated pad for extra protection. I can ship Monday through Thursday, and will ship the record within two business days (excluding Friday) of receiving payment. Returns are accepted within 14 days.
