Description
BEETHOVEN Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125 - The "Choral" Symphony

Rare Original HMV / EMI, Two LP Set
ALP 1286 ; ALP 1287
Labels are in Excellent condition.
The record plays between VG+ and Excellent - condition, clear and smooth sound, no jumps or skips.
-RECORD 1, SIDE A: Ranges between VG++ and EX –, due to light background noise and occasional very light tick (at the end and for 5 seconds)
-RECORD 1, SIDE B: VG++ due to light background noise
-RECORD 2, SIDE A: VG++, due to background noise which can be heard particularly at the beginning and middle part.
The background noise heard i believe was due to contact with inner sleeve and storage of several decades as the record seems to be unplayed. From my experience this can be upgraded with a professional cleaning session. Still, i tried to be as accurate and conservative as possible to avoid disappointments. Grading: "EX (Excellent): the record may show minor signs of having been played (ultra light marks, ultra light scuffs etc) or simply from contact with the inner sleeve. The record may have some very slight surface hiss or rustle or a few minor tics here and there, but nothing that will affect playing and certainly no serious marks or scratches and no skips or jumps.”
