Description
Here for sale is an original poster advertising the "FUTURAMA 2" Punk/New Wave two day concert that took place at LEEDS TOWN HALL on Sat 13th and Sun 14th Sept 1980. The gig promoter was none other than John Keenan who started up the infamous weekly F-CLUB in Leeds from 1977 through to '80. This is an extremely rare original poster measuring approx 18"x 25". It is 27 years old and showing signs of age with corners torn and slight discolouring due to age.
Headliners were Siouxsie & the Banshees on the Saturday. Also on the bill were Echo and the Bunnymen and a fledgling U2 along with Psychadelic Furs, Hazel O'Connor, Athletico Spizz 80, Soft Cell, Altered Images, John Peel was DJ. plus loads more groups as you can see on the picture.
Very, Very, Very Rare to see this poster in 2007. NO RESERVE!
