Description
Inherited from a relative, along with other stuff I am currently selling. Very rare Fynn McCool album from 1970 - rare progressive - and seldom seen. However there is another thing about this album that makes it rare that I was not aware of. When I showed this album to the guy at my local record shop - he said it was the first copy he had seen in 20 years which had a cover in top condition! Apparently most copies have trashed or torn covers - but this album's cover is super nice! Grading:- Cover looks super! It has no tears, no splits, no writing and no other nasties! No stickers and no ring wear either, with rubbing being almost non existent with none on the front and almost none on the back. Take a good look at the pictures to be sure. Spine text is fully readable, with almost no wear. Front edges are unworn and back edges have minor evidence of inking in - though this is hard to notice. No sticker marks. Inside of the cover is super too - see pictures! Minimal creasing and cover is nice and flat. This cover must grade Very Good+ towards Excellent, and surely not many can be found like this now! The record is very black and shiny indeed, with only a few light lines under light. Record plays well enough with just some background crackle / surface noise in places. But as this album has been sitting in my relatives collection for many years, I suspect it could do with a clean (even though it isn't dirty and has been well stored). The labels look really nice, with no damage and only a few light spindles! I will grade the record Very Good. Very rare album to find now.... especially with a lovely cover like this one has!
