Condizioni : la copertina, frontalmente laminata, mostra due minuscoli forellini, come causati da un sottile ago da cucire, sia nella parte superiore che in quella inferiore del lato sinistro e in quello corrispondente sul retro nei pressi dei due angoli. Inoltre nel retrocopertina  è visibile un pò di ring wear e due piccole abrasioni nella parte bianca inferiore sinistra non lontana dall'angolo; bello stato, EX / il vinile mostra alcuni segni minori e qualche sfregamento estetico. Condition : laminated front cover shows two tiny holes, probably caused by a thin sewing needle, both in the upper and lower part of the left side and in corresponding ones on the back near the two corners. Moreover in the back cover you can see a bit of ring wear and two small abrasions in the white of the bottom left part not far from the corner, EX / vinyl has some minor signs and some cosmetic rubs. The listening reveals some slight clicks in particular on the first side, EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : undici canzoni ed un brano strumentale (a4) per illustrare il documentario. La sua seconda parte, con telecamera piazzata addosso al surfista George Greenhough mentre svolazza tra le onde marine, è interamente musicata con il brano "Echoes" dei Pink Floyd con i suoi oltre 23 minuti. Qui non è presente e del resto si tratta di musica non originale dato che la canzone era stata composta dai Pink Floyd per l'album "Meddle" nel 1971. Difficile dire se il compositore e la band formata per l'occasione fossero al corrente di tutto questo e nel caso affermativo in quale misura possa essere state influenzate le dodici composizioni originali. In queste troviamo del buon rock talvolta anche sotto forma di ballate e con leggere sfumature psichedeliche. Il compositore canta lui stesso le undici canzoni ben supportato dalla band con una particolare menzione per l'ottimo chitarrista Mick Liber. In basso potete leggere la formazione del gruppo.

Notes : eleven songs and an instrumental track (a4) to illustrate the documentary. Its second part with a video camera placed on the surfers George Greenhough while hovers on the waves is based entirely on the song "Echoes" by Pink Floyd throughout its entire duration of over 23 minutes. Here is not present and moreover it is not an original music since the song was composed by Pink Floyd for the album "Meddle" in 1971. Hard to say if the composer and the band formed for the occasion was aware of all this and if so, to what extent may have influenced the twelve original compositions. In these we find some good rock sometimes in the form of ballads and with slight psychedelic hues. The composer sings himself eleven songs well supported by the band with a special mention for the excellent guitarist Mick Liber. Below you can read the line-up.

Un bel documentario sulla vita del surfista George Greenhough prima, durante e dopo la sua carriera sportiva, coprodotto da Australia e Stati Uniti. Regia di David Elfick, con lo stesso George Greenhough ed altri surfisti celebri come Nat Young e Ritchie West, tutti nel ruolo di se stessi.
