EXTREMELY RARE ORIGINAL COPY of GALAXIE 500's debut masterpiece "Today" on AURORA RECORDS from 1988. This album is one of the best Indie / Shoegazer LPs from the late 80's, with fantastic songs like "Don't Let Your Youth Go To Waste", "Temperature's Rising", "Tugboat", and the opening track "Flowers". The only way it seems you may find this album now is in the popular reissue because you just can't find an original copy, UNTIL NOW! This album is so good, if you don't know it, download or stream it and it's follow-up "On Fire". SO GOOD! So this copy's cover is easily VG+, I've taken care of it well, with a imperfect but very legible spine, a little rubbing on the bottom edge, and NO SPLITTING! NOT a cutout copy, if there ever were any, so no saw marks, holes, or cut corners. This cover is from Canada and is very similar to a Euro cover that is made with the lighter card stock, so there are some short wrinkles here and there surrounding it, and a little age wear (?) seen on the back edge along the openings. The vinyl is very clean and colorful, with only two VERY light short marks on Side Two that do not cause skipping. Dead wax declares it a "EuropaDisk DMM" A/B copy. You may hear some occasional background noise, I've cleaned it well, but it is 30 years old :( I'm hoping you will be pleasantly surprised by it's condition as I am trying to be pickier than usual since its so rare. PLEASE, see all photos before bidding or buying! DONT MISS THIS VERY HARD TO FIND COPY of a STRAIGHT UP CLASSIC LP that sounds SO GOOD (check out halfway through "Flowers" when the harmonies kick in.
