Description

The Galley 'Hail Smiling Morn'. This is an original English Folk album released in 1975 from Boston Soundhunters label, catalogue number  GHS 10.

The outer sleeve shows some very minimal wear and light marks due to age, the outline of the record can be seen on the front cover, but is otherwise in very good condition. The track listing and track & band info is printed on the reverse of the sleeve.

The record looks in fine shape with only some very light marks on side two and a very tiny nick on the outside rim of the record which most probably occurred when being pressed. Overall the vinyl would be graded in excellent condition. The plain white inner sleeve is in excellent condition also.

The album was later released in Holland as Joke and Push about the Pitcher. This is a very rare record - Folk Holy Grail! A local folk expert has advised that this was only one of 200 copies produced!

MINT:The record itself is brand new.The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT:The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:The record is still just playable but it has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
