Here it is, one of the best British melody punk / Mod / powerpop punk records ever issued. The A-side track 'Best Friend' is crammed-full of sparkling melodies, topped with excellent guitar riffs and a singer…. hmmmm like an angel. The same sold on eBay, in March 2015, for £150. As you might know, most of the ‘Best Friend’ singles were released without a cover....so here's your chance to get this record with the rare jacket. This all-time classic was produced by Shane Roe of UK punk band the SODS. Their second 7” is definitely their best and rarest. You are bidding on the original first pressing, released on private UK punk label ‘Stortbeat’ in 1979 (catalogue number BEAT 3). It’s on the same label that the EPILEPTICS kicked out their first single. The winner on the flip titled ‘Best Friend Dub’. The sleeve shows a seam split. That's the reason why I'm grading this rarity:
Condition / Zustand: EX-/EX- (clean, gut erhalten)
Postage & Packaging / Porto & Verpackung:
OUTSIDE GERMANY (all countries, same price for 1-4 singles): $7 or £5 or €6
DEUTSCHLAND für 1-3 Singles: €2,50 (Brief) oder €5,00 als Einschreibebrief (versichert)
Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of €20 or £15 or $22 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of €2,50 or £2 or $2.70. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail. Good luck with your bids from Germany’s record seller ‘punky_music‘ (old name ‘punkdealer‘)
