Description
The 31 Flavors : Hair (Crown Records CST 592 original US pressing) Killer raw Blue Cheer-influenced Los Angeles teen punks recorded this garage fuzz stuff after school, it's the companion piece to the "Firebirds" LP on Crown but no relation to their "Electric Firebirds" exploito LP. This is easily the most interesting disc I've heard in the last 6 months.
The cover is very rough. More than half of the left hand seam is split, and the top seam is really rough as well with large splits in both corners, a split in the middle, and lots of edge wear. Not pretty. The bottom of the back cover also suffers from water damage.
The good news is that the disc is in excellent glossy condition, but bear in mind that Crown melted down their unsold LPs to press new ones, so every Crown LP has ground-up label paper mixed into the vinyl and thus has some surface noise. No virgin vinyl pressings on this label! That said, the record plays great. If you like fuzz, this is the holy grail of all fuzz records!
Winner pays $4 shipping charge. For overseas bidders, shipping rate will be adjusted. Check out my other auctions!
