Description

GARY CROSBY -- Sweet Dreams Baby (aka Dream Baby) / Lonely Avenue -- ex. rare, original early 1960's (??) U.S. 45 RPM single, DJ Promo copy.  This is an apparently unknown 45 by Gary Crosby, son of Bing, and not necessarily known for being the rocking-est of dudes ... until you lay ears on this puppy.  A-side is fairly awesome Teen Rock - Northern Soul cover of Roy Orbison's "Dream Baby" (for some reason mis-titled here as "Sweet Dreams Baby") with urgent vocals, wild guitar and an almost raw, Frat Rock vibe.  Killer stuff.  B-side is equally good Teen Rock cover of the Ray Charles hit "Lonely Avenue" written by Doc Pomus.  I can't find any information that this was ever commercially released, so it may have been pressed up as a DJ Promo only by 20th Century Fox Records.  In generic sleeve.  Record:  Good+ to VG-, moderate surface wear, well used but plays well, U.S. press.
