GARY MOORE - In Concert 414; (CN5006S / 158399 - S/158400 - S), BBC Transcription Service; Vinyl LP, UK 1987, with cue sheet and original BBC custom cover (yellow w/green print, sticker on back cover - radio station info), polylin. inner sleeve.
Original LP - not a bootleg or later reprint! Scarce complete set.
Condition vinyl: near mint (played once or twice for broadcasting purposes); condition cover: near mint, condition label: near mint (clean, w/o any writing etc.).
Very rare BBC In Concert radio show. Recorded live for BBC radio broadcast, not commercially available. Limited one run pressing of less than 50 copies. Close to 1 hour commercial free live music. All BBC transcripts with stunning clean and dynamic sound quality. Absolutely great audio! The premium of vinyl radio shows!
Gary Moore made his name as leading rock guitarist when he worked with the now legendary Thin Lizzy. His reputation continued to grow when he went solo, his style broadened and in recent times his guitar sounds have become much more lyrical. He’s enjoyed success of his solo albums like Wild Frontier and singles from it such as 'Over the Hills and Far Away' and the title track 'Wild Frontier'.
This concert was recorded live in concert for the BBC at London's Hammersmith Odeon with songs from his album "Wild Frontier" and others.
