Description
GARY NUMAN - "TELEKON" - VINYL LP
BEGGARS BANQUET - BEGA 19 - 1980 - UK 1st Pressing A1/B1 matrix
Extremely rare original UK test pressing of Gary Numan's 1980 album with blank/handwritten white labels. The disc run-outs have 'STRAWBERRY' machine-stamped on them as well as hand-etched A1/B1 matrix and 'WEA TP' (i.e. Warners Test Pressing) inscriptions. (Beggars Banquet were licensed by Warners).
The LP is housed in a handwritten plain white outer sleeve and inner sleeve.
Please see photos for more details.
This disc comes from the collection of a former pressing plant employee and I am also including another plain inner sleeve found in the same collection which has a few written production notes for this release and mentions the inner, free single, sticker & poster that were to accompany this 1st pressing.
CONDITION (vinyl/cover)
Disc looks hardly-played and shows no significant marks EX+
(record will be sent in a brand new polylined inner alongside the original paper sleeve)
