Description

This is a nice copy of a single by Don Brandon: "Doin' the Swim" b/w "Ballad of Bonneville" (Dot 45-16600). Released in March, 1964.

Both sides written, arranged and produced by Gary Usher. "Ballad of Bonneville" is featured on the Sundazed CD compilation "Surf & Drag, Volume 1" released in 1994. A version of "Ballad of Bonneville" was also recorded by the studio group The Super Stocks, for the "Thunder Road" LP, also a Gary Usher project. The song is similar in structure and style to "Spirit of America," which was written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian and recorded by The Beach Boys for the "Little Deuce Coupe" LP.

Vinyl is in VG to VG+ condition. High gloss, some light scuffs. Labels have no writing, stickers, or tears. Just some wear.
