Description
rare king blues first press in solid vg condition, with nice gloss, a number of feelable marks and scuffs, there are two, maybe three notable scratches each side, they surprisingly did not contribute much aural defects if at all, both sides played through pretty quiet, with only a few random tics. the record's gravest fault is the poor quality of vinyl king used to press this, and from what i understand these tracks are remastered from 78 rpm source material, so a bit less timbre than i would like, the piano sounds sometimes tinny, the overall recording sounds a bit shrill or harsh sometimes to my ears, but i doubt what i am hearing is any fault of this particular record
there is light moisture damage across bottom edge with some flaking on front and foxing on rear noticeable in the pics.
along with the equally rare smokey smothers king lp i am also listing, this has not been on the market recently, i am lucky to have found them, i feel i have priced this copy fairly for it's condition, and would enjoy replying to any questions.
