Description

   Ultra rare copy of UK  1960s band, Gates of Eden "Mini Skirt" song.
  This copy was pressed for radio only! ,as it was used for advertising Bristol Myers -Clairol hair products, released on the EMI Custom Service label 7XS-5550,made in Australia.
 The song is a thumping pop beat tune with fuzz guitar, with lyrics
"Girls in our town going round in those high mini skirts..."  .

The one side 45rpm vinyl is in scratched condition, G+.  No real heavy scratches that affect play, sounds okay. It has no original sleeve. 
 
Its very hard to find any info on this UK band but according to one site they released 3 singles in the UK, but "Mini Skirts" wasn't mentioned. According to this site http://www.raw-tcsd.com/RAW1__g.htm says its non UK release, but released in France on an EP as "Mini Shirts" .
It was also released on Jubilee records in the US, Pye records in Germany, and Astor records in Australia in 1967.   Note:  Astor is not part of EMI.
