You are bidding on possibly one of the rarest 7" singles to have appeared on Ebay in a very long time.
I have had this record for over 15 years and I have NEVER SEEN ANOTHER copy. There are a few re-issues out there on American labels, but this EXCEPTIONAL copy is one of the rarest items on theHIGHLY COLLECTED STARLITE LABEL. I cannot impress upon you how RARE this record is.

- it is currently listed in RC book at £150 and has been listed at 'at least' the same price since 1995. But in the 1997/98 book it was listed at £300!
In truth, the value is probably unknown because I do not believe another has been listed for sale in all that time. If you go onto any search engine looking for Gene Chapman or Starlite label there is no reference to this record anywhere! This record REALLY IS as RARE AS HENS TEETH.
CONDITION :
The photos will show you how good the condition is. It has a wonderful sheen on both sides and I PROMISE you there is not a single surface mark on either side IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE how this 46 year old record has survived in such wonderful condition. There are a few light spindle marks but otherwise the unblemished mauve labels are clean, unmarked and undamaged in all respects. It plays through both sides without a hitch - no skips, no jumps, no sticks and just a little crackle on the run-ins. NOT ONLY IS THIS SUCH A RARE RECORD it is possibly impossible to find another one - and if you did it would not be as good as this one. A chap I met at a record sale once who told me he had the entire STARLITE catalogue except this one -HE HAD NEVER EVEN SEEN A COPY - I hope he is looking at this listing.

THE ONLY DOWNSIDE is that I do not have a STARLITE company sleeve to go with ity, so it will be delivered in a polylined stiff card sleeve.
