GENE CLARK With THE GOSDIN BROTHERS '67 Columbia CL2618 2-Eye MONO EX Byrds

Columbia Records catalog number CL2618, Gene Clark's brilliant 1967 debut solo LP Gene Clark With The Gosdin Brothers. Recorded and released right around the time his former band The Byrds released Younger Than Yesterday. The Clarke LP has a lot of the feel (and the musicians) found in the Byrds' next record, Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Musicians incluse Clarence White, Glen Campbell, Chris Hillman, Mike Clarke, Leon Russell, more. A criminally under-heard LP and a pioneer country-rock masterpiece. Very hard to find and this one's lovely: 2-eye Mono, EX throughout, just a touch of noise here and there on the vinyl. Tiny hole top left of the cover. Cleaned on the VPI. Bid with confidence. Thanks, have fun and good luck.
