Description
Original 16" transcription disc of "Gene Dennis," an audition of a proposed show featuring the once-famous psychic. On an Presto acetate disc with a Radio Recorders Inc. label. VG, with light scratches and wear, and with lots of gloss. In a generic paper sleeve.
Gene Dennis was a noted vaudeville entertainer who performed her psychic routine from the 1920s-1940s. On this radio show audition disc she provides staged readings and gives advice to "audience members." There is also a dramatization of one of her supposedly miraculous feats when she predicted the location of a lost object. The show is dated March 4, 1938 on the label.
