First off,I am not a record grader in the sense that the widely accepted view of letter grading vinyl to me has much room for gaps in assessment.I always try to give as much info as I can,so the perspective buyer can make a comfortable judgment Grading records or anything for that matter is subjective ,and opinions can and do vary.

I tend to be on the very conservative side about grading (sometimes to the point of "over grading") as I feel its the prudent & diligent thing,as you are not here making the visual call on the record.I have included an MP3 sample so you can make a judgment on the records playing quality.PLEASE use this mp3 to make your assessment of the sound.That's why I have it embedded.If you have questions on the sound,or anything else pertaining to the record,email me and I will go over it more,but please don't ignore the tool I have placed to help make the decision,that's what its there for.We all know records can look one way and play another.Please note,I will only vouch for my turntables performance,for as we all know,turntable performance varies from one to another.
Ten inch 78 acetate Be A Clown which came from Hertz recording studio in Newark NJ. Be A Clown.Same song both sides,maybe a different version.It is my opinion after listening to the Gene Kelly and Judy Garland film version of this song on the internet,that this is an acetate of them singing Be A Clown.I have included both sides as an mp3 so you can judge both the acetates playing quality and your opinion on who is singing it.If anyone feels it someone else besides Kelly and Garland to the contrary ,please email me.One on side of the label it looks to me like it might say use short side,but I am not sure.It also says practice.
As to its condition.Overall I would say good.There are some light surface scratches and a few light scuffs,but they look superficial to me.On one side,there is some wearing of the coating at the start which made it skip one time,another time it didn't.The other side played through fine.The label scan is a drop lighter,more orange in person.
