GENE NORMAN AND THE ROCKING ROCKETS,VERY RARE ROCKABILLY 45 MANUFACTURED IN 1959 AS SNAG #S-101 IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA.
Visually, the vinyl is G because it hasn't been cleaned. It has an odd-shaped, but very clean hairline crack (see pictures). I purposely didn't clean the disc as I thought it would be better to let the winning bidder do so. The same goes for why I chose not to repair the disc (which if done properly could probably bring the record to a tad better than VG, maybe even better). I playgraded the disc and it pops where the crack is during play, but played loud and clear with a little background noise (which wasn't too noticeable because the music is loud). Snaggle Tooth Ann plays through and skips a couple times where the end of the crack is. It does play through though. The other side gets stuck on the end of the crack. I have chosen to put this record up for auction, because it needs to go to someone who loves to restore very rare vinyl records.
