Gene Redding (born 1945, Anderson, Indiana) was an American singer, who was discovered by Etta James at a USO Club in Anchorage, Alaska.He released one album on Capitol Records in 1974, entitled Blood Brother. The album hit #45 on the Billboard Black Albums chart[1] on the strength of the singles "Blood Brothers" (U.S. Black Singles #80) and "This Heart" (U.S. Black Singles #31, U.S. Pop Singles #24)
I bought and will be listing a large number of Blues & R&B records I recently acquired from Darryl Stolper. Darryl is
one of L.A.s best known record collectors and an authority on Blues & R&B. He was responsible for signing Albert Collins
to Imperial. As a young surfer in the 1960s he appeared in a number of surf movies and was hired to teach
Sally Fields surfing to play Gidget.
