Description
GENE VINCENT AND HIS BLUE CAPS - DEBUT ALBUM - BLUEJEAN BOP! - CAPITOL T-764 - FIRST PRESSING COVER: The cover is the thin 50's style, laminated both sides, there is minor creasing and wear to the spine with minor wear to corners. The front open edge is good but there is a 10mm tear in the reverse open edge. The inner sleeve is original. RECORD: Both record labels are clean and in excellent condition. There are superficial scratch and scuff marks but none that are detectable by touch. Generally there are very light crackles heard between some tracks and the odd light crackle within a track that does not interfere with the listening enjoyment. Side 1 track 2 there are a few early clicks. Generally surface noise is not to be found and vocals are clear and instruments crisp, all in all there is a great sound coming from this iconic album. All tracks have been checked and played in full and at sufficiently loud volume using a Citronic Pro PD-1s MK2 direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amplifier and Sonus Faber speakers.
