Description
GENE VINCENT
I’m Back & I’m Proud
LP
LOW start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’!
The legendary rocker recorded this LP just two years before his death, aged only 36. By the early '60s, his recordings had become much more sporadic, and his chief audience was in Europe, particularly in England (where he lived for a while) and France. He made this album for the John Peel label ‘Dandelion’ with a group including ex-Blue Caps guitarist Johnny Meeks.
Record has only feint signs of play – little crackle on run-in and quiet start – cleaned on my vinyl machine it plays fine.
The Gatefold Sleeve is unlaminated with little edge wear.
Gene Vincent – vocals / Johnny Meeks – lead guitar / Red Rhodes – steel guitar, dobro / Jim Grant – piano / Skip Battyn – bass / Jimmy Gordon - drums

USA bidders please note: UK Post Office has increased mailing cost to USA due to:
An increase of more than 100% in the fees the US Postal Service (USPS) charges for the ‘last mile’ delivery of international mail.
Securing air freight at inflated market costs due to a 95% reduction in air passenger flights globally. eBay now charge sellers a 10% fee on postage cost. I do not make a profit on postage but eBay does. To help buyers all auctions have a low start price.
NEW !! All records are professionally cleaned on an Okki Nokki Record Cleaning Machine, ensuring you receive it in its best condition.
This is a Vinyl record. Note that most vinyl may have a little faint 'crackle'. I describe them as best I can but be aware all records may have a very occasional background.
