Description

GENESIS TRICK OF THE TAIL
Issue : UK 1st PRESS       Label : Charisma      Catalogue No : CDS 4001     Matrix : CDS 4001 A1 / B1

This 1976 UK 1st press is on the original Mad Hatter Charisma label. It is complete with the earliest A1//B1 matrix, the original printed inner sleeve and textured gatefold sleeve. This sleeve is the rare very earliest 1st press Bruin BV - Zaandam/Holland press.

The vinyl is in Excellent condition. Every side has the most sensational mirrored gloss, there are a couple of very light marks but these are insignificant, every track gleams. The labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is no spindle wear.

The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation, the original warm complete sound. Even in the quietest moments, there is slight noise but it is still superb.

The textured 1st press gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The yellow is exceptionally bright, the picture is sharp and there are none of the usual dirty marks. The edges are solid and the inside is like new. There is just the very slightest discolouration by the spine. It really is superb.
