CONDITION REPORT:
The red ‘FFRR’ mono labels are in excellent condition. They are the best part of this package. Only light spindle evidence and NO writing, rips, stickers or residue.
The front laminated sleeve is in FAIR condition. Sellotape along the spine edge. Several prominent and established creases to the front, ring wear / impression both sides. Corner wear, feathered opening edge. You get the drift – a tired sleeve…
The vinyl shows damage and several faults / defects. The disc is dished, not severely but appreciably. The first half of both sides is warped and WILL NOT PLAY WITHOUT SKIPS There is a severe SCORCH ‘lip’ warp to the outer edge (see photo). The record looks to have been exposed to heat at some point – there is heat rash across most of the record’s surface - this is only faint but it has resulted in some groove damage. Add to this a few light hairlines and scuffs and the disc can only be graded POOR.
As stated, you will not be able to play the FIRST HALF of either side. After roughly half way through, Side 1 plays OK, although with occasional ‘wobble’ of the stylus. Side 2 is similar – forget the first few tracks. It plays without jumps from here but with some underlying surface noise and also sticks towards the end.
There is no insert with this copy.
