Description

ON TO OTHER GOOD LPs OF VARIOUS TYPES!!  This is a reasonably priced 1968 U.S. MERCURY RECORDS LP titled 'In the Beginning' from American psych outfit Genesis (NOT THE 1970s-ERA PETER GABRIEL LED BRITISH PROGRESSIVE BAND).  It is Mercury Records catalog number SR 61175.  Genesis is: Sue Richman-lead vocals / Jack Ttanna-vocals / Bob Metke-drums / Kent Henry-lead guitar / Fred Rivera-bass / Freddie Ballerini-violin.  Tracks: Angeline, Suzanne, Gloomy Sunday, What It's All About, Mary Mary, Ten Second Song, Girl Who Never Was, World Without You (16:08).   Condition of record is a high VG+ with a very few surface marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play.  Condition of cover is about VG with the main flaw being a split for the entire length of the top edge and the top layer of paper being worn away along the entire length of the top edge.  Cover also has some small light stains, some ring and contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners.   This LP would be a choice addition to any late 1960s psychedelic rock record collection!
