Description
This is an original U.S. pressing copy of the rare sole LP by West Coast psych group Genesis, released in 1968. The record mixes heavy tracks with gentler pieces, and includes covers of Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne" and (more interestingly) the jazz standard "Gloomy Sunday," interpreted by Billie Holliday among many artists. The textured jacket has a small cutout hole, some tearing and light wear along the seams, light ring and corner wear, and light staining along the bottom seam on the back cover (EX). The disc has some scuffing and loss of glossiness, and plays with steady, light to moderate surface noise audible between tracks and in quieter passages, but no pops or skips in the many parts I sampled -- VG(+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
