This is one of 7 totally original 1st Press Genesis studio LP’s from Trespass to Wind and Wuthering that I am currently offering for sale on ebay.  Almost without exception these LP are in totally fantastic condition.  I have hand selected these for sale as they are simply some of the finest examples of Genesis first pressings I have ever come across. Each has the FIRST and LOWEST matrix numbers known for that particular LP.  All sleeves are the FIRST ever produced.  They contain ALL the original extra’s including Lyric Inners, Inserts etc. They are a serious Genesis vinyl collectors dream!!!!

This is also one of several LP’s I am offering now and over the next few weeks on ebay in absolutely stunning condition throughout.  These LP’s are nearly all in at least EX+ condition, with the majority being in Near Mint or Mint Condition.

Up for sale here:

GENESIS ~ Selling England Charisma CAS1074. Released October 1973

If you are looking for really superb condition original UK 1st pressing copy of this LP with the earliest matrix and a perfect lyric insert , then look no further this is a stunning condition copy that would be very difficult to upgrade upon. A really beautiful copy!

Detailed condition grading is as follows:

VINYL: (VISUAL) NEAR MINT

The vinyl is graded at NEAR MINT condition, an examination under strong halogen light shows virtually no signs of wear or play, just the slightest signs of use with a very few, barely noticeable hairlines.
Very nice solid heavyweight vinyl, the disc weighs in at a weighty 147g

A really stunning copy truly worthy of the label “archive copy” in that would be very hard to improve upon.

MATRIX INFORMATION:

A Side: CAS1074 A-1U   2 AO (stamped) Porky-Ray (etched)
B Side: CAS1058 B-2U   1 RH (stamped)   Pecko (etched)

LABELS:  NEAR MINT

The labels are in Near Mint condition, being clean and free from any marks or damage.

OUTER SLEEVE: EX+

The outer EJ Day sleeve is in EX+ condition and displays only very minor signs of use; it is a stunning clean example with nice unworn edges.  The pale colours on this sleeve make this a classic sleeve for showing up any marks and dirt.  This copy is really exceptionally clean, with hardly any signs of use.  There are a couple of tiny marks on the rear sleeve near the bottom edge but they are virtually unnoticeable.  There is also the occasional tiny crease near the spine but overall it is a really superb copy, strong EX+ condition! One of the best examples of this original and correct EJ Day sleeve I have seen in years!

LYRIC INSERT: NEAR MINT

The original green lyric insert is made of thick card, correct for 1st pressings of this LP.  The insert itself is in NEAR MINT condition, it is undamaged, unmarked and is not creased, it is a real beauty!!

INNER SLEEVE: EX+

The original generic inner sleeve is also present.  It is in EX+ condition.  The only point of note is that at some point one corner has been folded over and the folded area has not aged in the same way as the rest of the inner as it is much paler in colour, which can be seen in the photos.

Postage and Packing:

All records are been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s
