                                           =====================

This auction is for an absolutely superb and complete copy of this rare 1st pressing. The vinyl with 2U matrix ending, the Bruin manufactured sleeve, lyric Inners and the elusive Charisma Gold Chase insert are all in really nice condition with only minimal wear.  A wonderful item.

Gradings: -

Outer Sleeve: EX, but close to EX+

The outer sleeve is graded EX. This is a conservative grading as this is a very clean example with only minimal wear. The front cover is extremely clean with just a small amount of slight discolouration towards the spine, mainly towards the top (see photos). This is actually very light in colour and is very much a minor condition point. The rear sleeve is very clean and this is definitely one of THE cleanest copies of this sleeve I have ever seen.  You would be hard pressed to ever find a cleaner, better condition example. Superb.

VINYL: (Side 1 / 2 / 3 / 4)    EX+ / NM / NM / EX+

Wow! Both records are in absolutely superb condition.  I cannot actually see any spindle lines around the centre hole, there is a strong possibility these LP’s have been played only a couple of times since 1974!!!

The small amount of wear that is noticeable is in the form of just a few very light hairline marks on sides 1 and 4, almost certainly caused by removing the records from the original thick card lyric inner sleeves.
This is without question the best condition vinyl of an original pressing I have  seen in nearly 20 years. Absolutely stunning!

MATRIX :
Record 1: A Side: CG1  A-2U  1  GP  (stamped)   Porky + Johnnie (etched)
Record 1: B Side: CG1  B-2U  1  GM  (stamped)  Pecko (etched)
Record 2: A Side  CG2  A-2U  1  O     (stamped) Pecko (etched)
Record 2: B Side  CG2  B-2U  3 AM  (stamped)  Porky (etched)

LABELS:  Mint
The labels are in Mint condition, I cannot see ANY traces of spindle marks whatsoever.  The labels are just in perfect condition!

LYRIC INNER SLEEVES: EX+ / EX+

Both the lyric inner sleeves are graded at EX condition.   They are the thick card variety only found on true first pressings (later pressings were on much thinner card).  The opening edge of the inners also protrudes by about 1cm which is another unique characteristic of the very first pressing run of this LP.
They are both in superb condition throughout, with some minor creases at the edges of each inner. They are perfectly clean with no brown age spots or yellowing that is often seen on these inners. Both remain intact and unsplit.

COMPETITION INSERT: Mint

The ultra-rare Charisma GOLD CHASE insert is in Mint condition and has no defects. It is perfectly clean and uncreased. Stunning!

Overall this is an INCREDIBLE copy of this Prog Masterpiece and a completely original 1st Pressing!!

Postage and Packing:

All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers.  My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use. Despite using high quality packing materials, I only charge the actual costs of postage.

UK Bidders:
£7.50 via first class postage (Registered delivery) – Please note this is lower than the actual cost!
