Detailed Grading: -
Outer Sleeve: EX+
The gatefold sleeve is in EX+ condition. This is a difficult sleeve to find in nice condition and here we have a really lovely example which only has some very slight mild wear with no significant damage, wear of marking. It’s just a really clean example of the true first edition UK sleeve made by Bruin BV (Holland)
Vinyl (Visual): Record 1: EX+ to NM Record 2: NM
The records are graded between EX+ and Near Mint. For the most part they are Near Mint. Record one has one or two more fine hairlines but both records are stunning and have clearly been played very sparingly. It is without question amongst the finest examples of this LP you will find today.
Vinyl (Audio): EX+
The audio is absolutely superb, and it delivers depth, clarity and balance throughout. There is the occasional light tick, but this IS VINYL and avoiding any unwanted sounds from a near 50 year-old LP is unrealistic. There is a very tiny mark on Side 3 at the fade out of The Supernatural Anaesthetist that makes a slight click for 4 – 5 revolutions but that is really the only point of note through this double LP which delivers breathtakingly super audio.
Matrix Numbers:
CG 1 A-2U 1 G
CG1 B-2U 1 AA
CG2 A-2U 4 ML
CG2 B-2U 1 AL
Labels: EX+
Clean with no writing or other notable damage.
Card Inner Lyric Sleeves: EX
The card Lyric inner sleeves are graded as excellent. There are no worrying faults whatsoever. Just the occasional tiny bit of discolouration, but essentially, they are in superb condition.
Red Gold Chase Insert: EX+
Unused and in super condition.
Postage and Packing:
All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping. Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers. My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
