Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare UK 1st pressing of Gentle Giant – In a Glass House on the WWA label, cat. no. WWA 002 with rare insert and lyrics inner sleeve.
The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition as well, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The structured “slide” cover (comparable to the first pressings of The Doors’ L.A. Woman album) is in VG+++ condition, there is only a small bald spots along the seams and spine, there is some slight handling and storage wear in the corners and there is some very slight ring wear on the front and the back. The plastic printed slide is undamaged. The black and white printed cardboard insert is EX condition, there is only a hardly visible small crease in the lower left hand corner.
The original lyrics printed inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. It’s only because of a couple folds in the top right hand corner on the front that I’ve graded this inner VG+. Besides this, the inner has very little handling wear and is completely unsplit. If the folds weren’t there, I would have graded this inner EX or better.
Although the cover is a bit used, this is a very rare Gentle Giant album in a very descent condition. Most copies have much more wear and the print slide is always damaged or the insert or inner sleeve are missing. This is a more than only presentable copy in my opinion, a real must have for all Gentle Giant or progressive music fans!
Shipping & Payment: I will ship to customers worldwide (except Russia, due to too many problems with Russian bidders, sorry for all buyers with good intentions) and accept prefer payments by a bank transfer, but I also accept payments by PayPal or contact me when you want to pay with another method. Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
