RARE original/1st UK LP pressing -- GENTLE GIANT - In a Glass House - 1973 WWA Records UK - WWA 002 (Super De Luxe). This is the 1973 original UK pressing of this classic prog album. Much has been written about this era of Gentle Giant, and this album is still considered a progressive rock classic. Songs include, "The Runaway," "An Inmates' Lullaby," "Way of Life," "Experience," "A Reunion" and "In a Glass House." Vinyl is excellent ...close to near mint ...just a few very slight hairline wisps on side two, which do not affect play ...sonics are superb, typical of an original pressing that was cut from the original master tapes. CDs and reissues of this album do not sound near as convincing as this original LP pressing. Original die-cut jacket/cover is VG+ ...light ring wear, a bit of edge and corner wear, a few small crease marks ...no seam splits, no fading -- very well-preserved die-cut sleeve with photo negative cardboard insert (see photo). All song lyrics and "giant" illustration are contained on the original inner sleeve (see photo). Enclosed in a protective poly outer sleeve. Stored in a non-smoking environment.
