Description

Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!

On offer, a very rare 1st U.K. pressing of Gentle Giant – Three Friends on the SWIRL VERTIGO  label, cat. no. 6360 070.

The record is in VG++ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines.  The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks and the B-side label has some age-browning. 

The cover is in VG+ condition, it suffers from general storage wear. There is a tiny sticker remain on the top of the front (just on the left to the Vertigo logo) and some ring wear and slight rubbing on the back. Besides mentioned damage there is nothing wrong with the cover; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.  Unfortunately the original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve is missing.

Although not in a dream Mint condition, this third (and musically the best) Gentle Giant is still very presentable. These Swirl pressings of Gentle Giant albums are becoming very scarce nowadays. A real must have for all Gentle Giant fans, progressive music fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.

Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
