ALL are playable records, but some surface noise and age wear should be expected. If any noise on the  vinyl play back or previous shelf wear on the covers are a problem, you may want to consider Near Mint or Sealed reissues in stead of bargain priced vintage vinyl.

MINT:  Only a sealed record   NEAR MINT:  Almost perfect, a sleeve scuff or two per side only.
VG+:  No marks you can feel, but multiple light marks and scuffs per side some luster loss, still a very good  play copy.
VG to VG+: This grade is that in between grade, just one or 2 marks too many for the plus grade, looks better than VG. but might cause disagreement if graded VG+, the luster will still be near the same as VG+.
VG:    Still no deep marks, but moderate marks and scuffs, much more loss of luster, very playable.
VG MINUS:    Moderate marks and moderate other marks and scuffs, some deep marks even, very little luster left, this type will be a more of a gamble.
GOOD:  Some scratches and marks, still a playable LP
