Description
George Harrison – All Things Must Pass is the classic George Harrison triple album boxed set from 1970 on the Apple label STCH 639 ‘Made And Printed In Great Britain’.
The three discs are numbered STCH 1-639 (YEX 817 on side 1 and YEX 818 on side 2), STCH 2-639 (YEX 819 on side 3 and YEX 820 on side 4) and STCH 3-639 (YEX 821 0n side 5 and YEX 822 on side 6) respectively. The matrix are 1U/1U/1U/1U/1U/1U and I understand this is the UK stereo first pressing.
From close inspection I consider the album to be NM-: (discs) and VG: (cover) condition defined as:
NM: The Vinyl looks virtually flawless, being perhaps played a few times. A barely visible scuff may be permitted, but no scratches. The cover will be in like new shape, showing only barely unnoticeable flaws.
NM-: Pretty much the same as NM, but a non-feelable and barely noticeable scratch may be permitted, and the cover will show slightly more wear. VG: Decent luster and shine still, with more noticeable scratches than VG+, but still overall a good record. The cover will show signs of splitting, ringwear, or have markings.
There are no scratches and the only mark is a sort of scuff on the run in track at the start of side 4 which does crackle slightly but stops when the music starts. Other than the aforementioned when played no crackles or pops can be heard. In reality the discs are almost mint since I have owned them from new and they have seldom been played - you won’t be disappointed.
All the labels are in great condition with no marks.
The inside of the box which has hinged lid is in mint condition. The picture on the front of the box is slightly dirty with a small tear to the bottom right – the 2nd photo does show this.
Inside the box each of the 3 discs has a different coloured textured sleeve and is complete with the poster and cardboard packing piece. Sleeves 1 and 2 have small edge splits to 2 sides. Sleeve 3 has no splits.
The scarce poster is in perfect condition and has no holes or tears – it has been factory folded and in the box at all times.
Please not that I will not post this item 2nd class standard. It will be sent 1st class signed for and the P & P costs are:-
UK - £8.00
Europe - £15.00
USA - £23.00
