George Harrison - All Things Must Pass

(Apple STCH 639 UK 3 LP Box Set 1970)

This is an original UK 1st pressing in very nice overall condition! A 3 LP Box Set which comes complete with inners & Poster. It has the earliest matrix numbers and mother stampers. It also has 1st press UK label credits. These are very rare! 

It has a hinged box which is manufactured in the UK. UK pressed boxes have a much larger spine. There are also far less common as most UK copies utilised U.S. pressed boxes. The inner panel of the left hand box is printed on orange card & has all the track details. The right hand side has a custom card support which has a white front panel. Behind this the box has a plain card finish. Original UK pressings were designed to include this extra card support. It was to stop the LP's moving around in the box. Some of these card inserts were printed with an orange front panel & some were printed with a white front panel.

All three records come with their original lyric inner sleeve. These are printed on textured paper. They are printed in the U.S. All UK original pressings come with lyric inners which are printed in the U.S. It also comes complete with the giant fold-out poster. This is printed in the USA too.

The records are pressed on thick vinyl & are all pressed in the UK. They have 1st press matrix numbers. Both LP 1 and LP 2 have no "Mecolico/ Essex Int." credit on them. This changed with 2nd UK pressings from 1970. Therefore only UK pressings without the "Mecolico" credit on LP 1 and 2 are genuine UK 1st pressings. All UK copies of LP 3 do have the "Mecolico" credit.

As stated this is a genuine UK 1st pressing. It has a UK Box & UK pressed vinyls. All the LP's have the appropriate label credits. It comes complete with Poster & Inners. These are very rare. Don't miss out!

Box: Very nice! There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the front panel. There is some very minor foxing & fading. There are some minor stains too. Otherwise just some very light rubbing wear to 3 corners. There are no seam splits. The hinge is in perfect working order & has no wear. VG+ condition.

Vinyl 1: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 3 light hairline marks. VG+ condition. I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays near excellent to excellent. There is some very light crackle in a very few quieter places. The labels are nice and clean and show mild spindle wear. The inner sleeve has a tiny 1 cm split at the bottom seam. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. It is graded Very NEAR EX condition overall.

Vinyl 2: Very nice! Just some light to very mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays excellent overall. There is some very light crackle in a very few quieter places. The labels are lovely and clean and show minimal spindle wear. The inner sleeve has a tiny 1 cm split at the bottom seam. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. It is graded Very NEAR EX condition overall. 

Vinyl 3: Very nice! Just some light to very mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays excellent overall. The labels are lovely and clean and show minimal spindle wear. The inner sleeve has a 10 cm split at the bottom seam. Otherwise it is in near excellent condition. It is graded VG + condition overall. 

The Poster is unused. However, it has a tiny 1 cm tear at the bottom middle seam. There is some light creasing too. some mild to more moderate foxing on the white backing. It is in NEAR EX condition. The card inner support/ insert is in EX condition.

I will place the records in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the lyric inner sleeves from any damage.

Please note that these prices are as a general guideline only. For example: Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7". I use a cruciform box for larger orders (4-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).

I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...
