This is the UK Original of ’The Concert For Bangladesh' by George Harrison. This earliest press is complete with the original orange inner sleeves, the orange box and lid and the original concert photo booklet, containing photos of artists including Ravi Shankar, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan.
The records are in Excellent condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves or obvious wear at all, there are just a few very light wispy marks on each side. The custom concert labels are completely clean. The colours are exceptionally bold, and the white is bright. The black text is sharp and there is NO spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation, the original 1970's warm complete sound. There is a little noise from time to time but certainly nothing significant and nothing to spoil the enjoyment at any point.
The record is complete with the original plain orange inner sleeves in Excellent condition. The colour is still bold and unworn with solid, sharp edges and just the very slightest corner wear. There are NO edge splits and no significant wear at all.
The concert booklet is in Excellent condition. The white is bright, the edges are firm with only the very slightest wear and the pictures are still sharp. The booklet is still solid and complete.
The box is in Very Good condition. The whole box is extremely clean and very bright. There is one edge split on the lid and very light wear on the bottom edges and corners otherwise the edges are all solid. The whole box still has its original shape and is very firm.
