1969 UK STEREO PRESSING LP

 

This 1969 very scarce album was one of only two LPs released on Apples short-lived experimental label: ZAPPLE 02

Housed in a fully laminated cover.

 

Matrix numbers: ZAPPLE 02 A-1 and ZAPPLE 02 B-1

Stamper numbers: 1/M & 1/A

A beautiful clean & unworn pair with just two or three light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

 

Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS

Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are totally unmarked in strong daylight. Just a handful of harmless wispy paper-type hairlines. Both sides lie flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

 

Play:

All tracks play without any jump, repeats or other major audible faults. Certainly no heavy clicks, pops or any other significant audible distractions on the entire LP.

 

Side 1: EXCELLENT PLUS

Apart from four light ticks there is nothing else to fault audibly.

 

Side 2: EXCELLENT

There are four repeating light ticks at the very beginning.

VERY GOOD PLUS

A strong & glossy example with some light handling & storage wear but no major faults. There is some toning around the edges & light wear to the opening edges, but no further significant wear or damage. The spine is fully worded and undamaged.
