Mega Rare Original UK 1968 1st Pressing of Wonderwall Music by George Harrison!!! Complete with Mega Rare Original 1st Press Insert and Containing 1st Press -1//-2 Matrix & Uncredited Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve! Complete with correct Black Die-Cut Apple Inner Sleeve! Very Rare!

You are bidding on a very rare record here; the super scarce 1968 UK Apple 1st pressing of Wonderwall Music by George Harrison!!! This is by far his rarest solo LP and just never shows up anymore here in the UK, especially as the true Stereo 1st press. What's more, this one is fully complete with its mega rare insert!!! Please be aware that there are many re-issues and European pressings of this LP about, but this is the original UK 1968 very 1st Stereo pressing and it is very, very rare to find (and almost impossible with its original insert!). It is not a later re-issue - this is the real deal! It has the correct dark apple labels labels and -1//-2 Matrix, and is complete with its original Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve fully laminated with extra thick laminate. This sleeve was famously un-credited, but rest assured, it is the rare Garrod & Lofthouse original. Finally, as mentioned above, this awesome record comes complete with its original insert!!! These are very, very rare because these inserts were only issued with the very earliest UK 1st pressings of this record, and most were subsequently lost or at best badly damaged over time only ever turning up with rips and sellotape marks etc. This insert is in superb condition with no major issues at all! The dark Apple Records Centre Labels are in great condition!!! They have NO Tears, NO Scribbles. NO lifting or Bubbling, NO Grubbyness and NO unwanted writing of any kind to whatsoever - just some occasional light spindle lines and that's it!!! The super thick & chunky 1st press vinyl is very presentable, although at very good-. it not of the usual high grade I offer you week in week out. Indeed, it is the sheer rarity value of a UK complete 1st pressing of this record that is of most importance in this case. Side one grades as Ex- with just one very short surface mark during Tabla and Pakavaj, but there are some hairlines on side 2 dropping the overall grade down to an honest very good- . However it plays but plays very well indeed with no jumps, no skips and no nasty loud pops, there is just the crackle you would expect from a Very Good- record. The MEGA RARE Garrod & Lofthouse 1st press fully laminated sleeve is in great condition with no serious issues. This un-credited G & L sleeve was the ONLY sleeve that came with the true UK 1st pressing of this album (Stereo and Mono) It has retained all of its stiffness (not gone floppy and lifeless like most around today) and has NO Tears, No Seam splitting and virtually NO feathering of the opening edge!! There are NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There is very little of the dreaded ring wear and just the occasional small laminate crease coming out from the spine!!! There is very little seam wear and just light wear to the corners! However there is a line of discolouration where the laminate ends on the edges. The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with a good strong spine with legible title text, but a small patch of wear to the bottom of the spine slightly obscuring the cat number. There is NO laminate cracking around the spine for anywhere else for that matter!!! A beautiful cover which easily grades as a Very Good+ if not better!!! Believe me, like all our other vinyl's this is in no way over-graded!!! Comes complete with it's original black die-cut Apple Inner sleeve, which is in superb Excellent condition!!! Also as mentioned above, this comes with its rare original insert which grades as a superb Ex with no serious issues at all! A very, very rare record!!! Don't miss this one!!!
