Here are two write-ups - “This is a rare classic ... an intrinsic slice of sixties psychedelica merging with Indian music via the Man who did as much as he could to turn people on to the genre. You can hear the beginnings of that great Beatles b-side "The Inner Light" on here. Historically placed around the time of the White Album and part of that immense creative current that flowed from the Beatles’ visit to India, it's a document worth having. -- Beautiful, quirky, ultimately moving, this strange and creative offering from George is a hodge~podge of musical hors d'oeuvres ranges from abbreviated, yet lush, rhythmic Indian tone poems, to Western/Honky~Tonk, to grinding Rock grooves.”
First Pressing variation: Scranton, PA (w/‘I AM’ in the runoff) - has the insert with album credits on it. For this US original album jacket, the front cover is the black & white photo! The color art is glued on the back jacket assembly (the method of jacket constuction in the 60s).
